The 5K starts at 8 a.m. followed by the 1 mile Run/Walk at 9 a.m. To register, visit jasperumc.org. Then, catch the festival parade down Main Street at 10 a.m. Don't miss the guided marble quarry tours for $15 which includes entrance to the festival. Once in the festival enjoy arts, crafts, demonstrations and our FREE children's activities area. There will be various sculptors including granite, marble, chainsaw and more. Be sure to try the great food while appreciating a vast array of musical entertainment on our Headliner Stage. The Georgia Marble Festival has something for all ages. Thousands of people experience the rich heritage of the area each year, learning about the marble industry as well as visiting the many treasures of Pickens County. The Sheriff's JeepFest is an annual three day event!!
JeepFest raises money for a variety of charities that share one thing in common….they take care of kids. Since the event is hosted by the Sheriff's Foundation, a non-profit organization, the Board of Directors works each year to identify needs in local, state, and national youth needs to support. Some of the charities that we help include the Georgia Sheriffs’ Youth Homes, the Joy House, Special Olympics for Pickens County, the Boys and Girls Club, the Jasper Youth Sports Association and much more!
